“He said to them, ‘Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.’”
(Matthew 17:20 ESV)
“So Jesus said to him, ‘Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.’”
(John 4:48 ESV)
According to google, a miracle is “a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.”
Divine agency. What is a divine agency? God and Jesus are a divine agency. Have you ever had something miraculous happen to you? Have you suddenly been healed of an illness or injury? Has money just showed up when you need it most? You have had a miracle.
That’s not the only kind of miracles. I used to be an EMT. I have seen my fair share of vehicle accidents. I have seen people walk away from what should have been certain death. I have also seen people die in a fender bender.
Why?
I have a theory. Maybe the one who walked away wasn’t saved, and God showed mercy so they could get right with Him. And maybe the one who died in the fender bender was ready to go. Only God knows those answers.
If you are in need of a miracle, cry out to God. Tell Him your problems. Tell Him you need a miracle. Build your faith. Then trust God to provide the things you need. He does for me. He has never let me down yet.
It may not come when you want it to, but it will come when God says it’s time. So have patience, build your faith, and keep praising God for it even though you haven’t got it yet. It will eventually come.
Have a blessed day, everyone.
