Salvation Is Free

by | Sep 2, 2023 | Free Gift, Salvation

“But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8 ESV)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 ESV)

How many times have you asked God for forgiveness and then went right back doing the same thing. Yes, God will forgive you, but have you really repented and given your life to God?

Salvation is free. All it costs is a few minutes of your time. Here is a salvation prayer for you. Read it. Mean it. God will welcome you with open arms.

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness.

I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

If you prayed it and meant it, welcome to the family. But I will tell you, your life won’t be a bed of roses. The devil will target you. But you now have the full armor of God to fight back with. You have access to the most powerful weapon there is. The blood of Jesus. Use the blood. Plead the blood over you and your belongings. Use the blood for protection.

If you did not say the prayer and meant it, I will be praying for you. Hell is not a good place to end up in for eternity. Hell is a place of continuous torture. Hell is hot, and I don’t mean in a good way. When they talk about fire and brimstone, they are talking about hell.

So, if you are not saved, I encourage you to do so today. Or if you know someone who isn’t, talk to them. Tell them about our loving Father. Encourage them to get saved.

Have a blessed day, everyone.
