“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
(Luke 10:19 ESV)
Google defines authority as “the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.”
Do you know as children of God we have authority over the devil and his demons? Read Psalm 91:13 NIV: “You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.” We have authority to trample on them.
We all need to start using our God-given authority to get rid of the devil and his demons. He is just out to steal, kill, and destroy.
I have been trying to trample a few of my own. I have noticed a bit of improvement in my life. But there are some hangers on that like to stir up trouble. I stand against them, and they take off. But if I do not keep my defenses up, they sneak back in and take root again.
I want to encourage you today to stand your ground and don’t let the devil drag you down.
