“You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!” (James 2:19 ESV)
“For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment…” (2 Peter 2:4 ESV)
“Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7 ESV)
I hear from so many people that their kids are into witchcraft and devil worship. The devil is after our kids. Just my opinion, but I think a lot of it starts with the goth movement. The black clothes, black makeup, etc. The devil has hordes of demons just waiting to take us down. But we don’t have to let them.
Google defines demons as “an evil spirit, a source or agent of evil, harm, distress, or ruin.” Pretty good description. Demons are here to cause harm, not good. Demons love to wreck our lives. They live to cause harm and chaos in our lives.
Are things going bad in your life? Are things just not right? Think demons. They will come to mess with your health, finances, family, and even your car and appliances.
But we can defeat them. We can tell them to go.
How, you ask?
Plead the blood of Jesus over you, your house, finances, family, whatever. We have the authority to stomp all over the devil and his demons. In James 2:19, it says, “even the demons believe and shudder.” (ESV) The demons believe in God and are afraid of Him.
So I advise you today, get right with God if you aren’t already. Tell the devil to leave. I have to tell him regularly to get out, I don’t have time for him. He does leave because he knows I am a child of God and know how to use my God-given power. You have the same power. Use it! Tell the devil off. Tell him to leave you and your kids alone.
Have a great day, everyone.
