“But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8 ESV)
“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Mark 13:32 ESV)
I know, I know. Just like me, you have heard all your life that time is getting short, we are living in the last days. I have heard that for many decades. We were told that from my early Sunday school days. But, people, time is getting short. It won’t be long now before Jesus comes back for His children. Are you ready?
It’s not really hard. Just say this prayer and mean it:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
It really is that easy. People think it’s hard to get saved. The hard part comes after you are saved. And that is living your life for Jesus. Don’t let me discourage you because being saved is a whole lot better than not being saved. But the devil now has his sights on you.
But you can stand against him. Don’t let him win even an inch. As the saying goes, “Give him an inch, and he’ll take a mile.”
So trust me when I say time is short. Jesus is coming back soon. I hope you will be ready.
Have a great day, everyone.
