“Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.” (Isaiah 46:4 ESV)
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 ESV)
There’s a song called, “I Will Carry You” by Ellie Holcomb:
“I will carry you
Through your darkest night
When you’re terrified
I will carry you.
When the waters rise
When your hope runs dry
I will carry you.” (I Will Carry You by Ellie Holcomb)
That describes Jesus. When we are running low or on empty, Jesus is right there to carry us through. He will walk through the deepest waters, driest desserts or wherever we are just to get to us because we can’t go on. Jesus will carry us when the trials of life get us down. He is there no matter what. He is there.
Jesus loves us. There is no changing that fact. No matter what do or say, Jesus loves us.
Are you going through a trial? A storm? Or just a small rough spot? Jesus is there to help you and carry you through it. Will you let Him? He just wants to help us. He will carry us through whatever we may be going through.
Go back up and read the last of Matthew. Jesus’s yoke is easy and His burden is light. So trade Him. Let Him have your burdens. Let Jesus carry you through whatever is going on in your life. Lean on Him for support and comfort.
Jesus loves you and will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re taken care of.
Have a great day everyone.
