“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16 ESV) “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10 ESV)
Life has a way of throwing things in your path. Things happen, things break down, jobs are lost. What do you do? Do you throw your hands up and give up? Do you scream and yell? Is your response why me?
I used to be that person. My response now is to pray. I go to God and lay my problems at His feet. I have some things going on and on my way to church last night I was singing in tongues. God started talking to me. He reminded me that nothing is too big for Him. He kept telling to be still and know that I am God. I am still on the throne so lay your problems at my feet and let me handle them. So I gave my problems to God and walked away from them. I left them at God’s feet at the throne. I also felt a big weight lift off my shoulders.
God is so good. He loves us so much. So remember when the devil comes to torment, the King has one more move and in the end, we win!
