What Was God Thinking?

by | Jan 30, 2023 | God's Love

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

(John 3:16 ESV)

I was watching a movie called, “Come Follow Me.” As I watched it, I was wondering how I would feel to watch my son being sentenced to die on the cross.  I watched as Jesus asked God to take it away, if it was His will. I wonder if God was crying as He watched His Son crying out to Him. Did He want to reach out and take Him in His arms and comfort Him?  What was God thinking as He watched His Son being tortured and then nailed to the cross? What was God thinking as Jesus hung, nailed to the cross, dying?

But Jesus had to die so that we may live. Jesus died for us. Jesus is alive again and coming back for us very soon. Are you ready?

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

What was God thinking when hH made us? Was it, “I love this person”? Or, “Oh boy, this one is this going to be a mess”?

What was God thinking when He gave me an outlet to reach others? I’ll tell you what I think Hhe was thinking. “Here is my precious daughter. I have been grooming her. Now is the time for her to share her love of writing and reach the people I need reached.”

I have no idea who all I am reaching. People have told me they forward it on to others. I will find out when I get to heaven. Jesus will tell me how my messages went around the world, to lost and hungry people.

Have a great day everyone. God loves you and so do I.
