“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.“
(Hebrews 11:1 ESV)
The world we live in today does not promote stepping out in faith. Stepping out in faith means you are believing in Jesus and what He tells us in the Bible. By stepping out in faith it means you are making the confident choice to trust God with your life and future.
God will never fail you. He is the only One you should have faith in. People will fail you. Look at all the scams going around, all the identity theft going on. Some people will let you down and then stomp on you. But God won’t do that. If you get knocked down, God is there to help you up again.
So by stepping out in faith, you are trusting that God is going to take care of you. You are trusting that He is always going to be there. And He will be: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 ESV)
Just because you don’t see Him doesn’t mean He isn’t there. Just have faith. It doesn’t matter how much faith you have, God can work with it if you will let Him. So take a leap of faith today. Step out in faith and watch God move on your behalf.
