“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”(Mark 13:32 ESV)
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”(2 Timothy 3:1-4 ESV)
While doing a Bible study on Revelation, I read this. In the middle of death and destruction, God throws up His hands and says, “Time out! Take a deep breath. I have good news. It looks bad, but our team is going to win!”
How many times have you just wanted to throw your hands up and quit?
For me, more times than I can count. But I didn’t. I kept going. It wasn’t always easy but I kept going. God wants us to keep going too. He doesn’t want us to give up.
If you think life has been hard up to now, just wait. If you are not born again, its going to get very hard soon. I know, I keep saying it, but the end is near. Jesus is getting ready to come back. I’m glad that when things spin out of control, God is still in charge. He won’t let me spin totally out of control.
A warning to all. Guard yourselves against false prophets and those who want to derail your walk with God. Steer clear of them. Guard your hearts. Keep the love of God in your heart and let it flow out like a river to all those around you. Always remember that God loves you. He is always there for you no matter what you may have done.
Have a blessed day everyone.
