Did you know God has a plan for your life? He has a plan for everyone’s life. And spoiler alert…His plan is perfect. We’re the ones who mess it up. We can be going along just fine then something happens. You might get a flat tire or your car breaks down and you don’t have extra money to fix it. What do you do? Cry, scream and throw a fit? Or do you turn to God, the source of your supply?
I have done both. The cry, scream and throw a fit never worked. But turning to God and asking for help does. Besides the first choice just gave me a headache and a runny nose.
When you turn to God, there is no muss, no fuss. Just plain and simple, “Dear God, I need your help for (insert issue here). Thank you for helping me Lord.” Or something to that effect.
And no, my car hasn’t broken down nor do I have a flat tire, at least not since I was last in it Monday.
God wants us to depend on Him for whatever we have need of. And He wants us to know that He hears us when we pray. I would be willing to say God probably gets tired of us asking several times a day for the same thing. Here’s a thought, ask and then just thank Him. God already knows what we need. He already has answers to our problems before we even know we have a problem. So one and done. Ask, thank God for it even though it hasn’t manifested yet and don’t forget to praise God.
