Hallelujah

by | Dec 14, 2022 | Praise, Sacrifice, Thanksgiving

“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” (John 4:23 ESV)

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!”
(Psalm 150:6 ESV)

“Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” (Psalm 100:2 ESV)

It’s been a rough couple weeks. I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago and got a diagnosis I did not agree with. I went in with a sinus infection and came out with covid. I still have the sinus infection by the way. The doctor would not even treat me for it. So I am self medicating. And praising God.

Prayer and praise works wonders. The more things go wrong the more we need to praise God. My car broke down. I praised God for an easy fix. And it was. I praise God for finances. Money comes in. I praise God for healing and I get better. It may take a bit for it to manifest but God is trying to teach me patience. I am learning…slowly.

God loves to hear us praise. He loves to hear us thank him for things. I thank God for things before I get them. By waiting for God’s timing, it always works out better than if I tried to rush it. God’s timing is always better than ours anyway. God has a perfect time for everything.

When I don’t know how to praise or just feel so beat down I can’t praise, I just say hallelujah a few times. It seems to unstop the well and things start flowing again. So when things get you down, start praising God. Don’t let the devil steal another thing from you. He wants us to stop praising God. But always remember…the King has one more move! He will one up the devil every time.

Have a blessed day everyone.
