“But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
Romans 11:6 ESV
There’s a song called “Grace, Grace, God’s Grace.” I have no idea who wrote or who sings it. But this is the part I love:
“Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace, Grace, God’s Grace — Author Unknown
Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Grace that is greater than all our sin!”
God’s grace is sufficient for us all. All we have to do is draw near to receive mercy and grace. No matter what you are facing, draw near to God. Let Him give you the mercy and grace you need in times of trouble. God’s grace is there for everyone. Just cry out to Him. He will hear and respond.
I have heard lots of people say, “There but for the grace of God go I.” Or, “I am alive by the grace of God.”
True statements. God’s grace has saved everyone of us, whether you know it or not, from something.
I have heard people say a pet woke them up in the middle of the night. That pet saved them from a fire, a burglar or whatever. Who do you think sent that pet to wake you up? Yep! It was God. He is looking out for us all whether you want Him to or not. As long as you are still breathing, God has a plan for you. But His mercy and grace will help you through whatever that plan is.
No matter what you are facing, cry out to God. I don’t care if you haven’t talked to God in decades, do it now. He won’t turn you away. He will send His mercy and grace to you. So let Him help. He’s waiting. What have you got to lose?
