Mindset

by | Oct 8, 2022 | Focus, Perspective, Priority

“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

(Matthew 19:26 ESV)

“Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.”

(Jeremiah 32:17 ESV)

How many times have you said, “I can’t do that because of (fill in blank).” I am guilty of that myself. I need to change my mindset from I can’t to I can.

Where would we be today if Jesus said, “I can’t die on the cross. That is just asking too much and sounds really painful.” We all need the mindset of Jesus. Nothing is impossible. Especially if you have Jesus on your side. With Jesus on our side we can move mountains. We can beat anything coming against us.

“For nothing will be impossible with God.”

(Luke 1:37 ESV)

That is so true. Nothing, I repeat, nothing is impossible with God. Do you have a mountain in your way, or maybe mountains. Doesn’t matter. With God nothing is impossible. Let God move those mountains for you. He is more than capable of moving them. Finances have you down? Prices have gone way up but pay checks haven’t. Car giving you trouble? Mortgage coming due? Insurances due? Whatever it is, start petitioning God. Lay it out before him and let him find the funds for you. But we have to do our part too. Pay your tithes faithfully and cheerfully. God loves a cheerful giver. Sow into others.

God has told me to sow into someone. I told him, “But God that’s all I have. I need gas in the car.” God’s reply, “So? Haven’t I always taken care of you? Well, I will this time too.” So I sowed into that person. And God brought it back to me 100 fold. So no matter what, get into the right mindset. Get the mindset of Jesus.

Have a great day.
