Think About It — But Not Too Long

by | Sep 4, 2022 | Salvation

“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.”

(Revelation 1:7 ESV)

“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.”

(Matthew 24:36 ESV)

Have you ever been told to think about it? So have I.

There is a topic everyone needs to think about. But don’t take too long or it will be too late. That topic is salvation. Yes, I discuss it a lot. But that’s only because I care about you and want you in heaven with me, not burning in hell alone. “Jesus is coming soon.” I have that all my life. “We are living in the end days.” Another popular phrase. But my friend, they are not just scare tactics preachers throw at us anymore. They are reality. We really are living in the last days.

But until Jesus does come back there is still time to be saved. It’s really easy. Say this prayer and mean it:

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Now live your life for Jesus. Follow him, serve him. He is right beside you, guiding you through life anyway. So why not dedicate your life to him right now? Jesus loves us and wants to help us navigate this life in the way God intended us to. But we have to let Him. What better way than to give our lives to Jim? He will take your hand and walk with you and help you.

I hope you said the prayer and meant it. If you did, welcome to the family. If not, think about it…but not too long. Jesus is coming back soon. You need to be ready.

Have a blessed day.
