Decision Time

by | Sep 1, 2022 | Decisions, Salvation

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”

(John 14:15 ESV)

“Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.”

(1 Corinthians 11:1 ESV)

The time is coming when you will have to make a decision. That decision is do you follow God or do you follow the world?

God will never lead you astray. The world (the devil) will always lead you astray. The devil is out to kill, steal and destroy everything he can. He knows his time is short and he wants as many as possible out of the will of God. Don’t let him lead you astray. God, on the other hand, wants the best for us. He will provide for us, care for us and never lead us astray. He will guide us on the right path and keep us safe.

If you, or someone you know, isn’t saved, today is the day to fix it. Say this prayer:

“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

From this day forward, put yourself into God’s capable hands. I ask God every morning to walk with me. I can’t take a step without Him.

Since giving my life to God, things have improved. I won’t say it was immediately because I had to break old habits and learn new ones. I had to learn to completely trust God in every area. And I do, now. God provides and protects me. He taught me it’s fun to laugh when trouble comes. It’s ok to laugh at the devil.

So don’t worry about anything. If you are living for God and serving him daily, He has it already worked out. Just get out of His way and let Him work.

Have a blessed day everyone. And remember, God loves you and so do I.
