“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” (Matthew 21:22 ESV)
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8 ESV)
Have you ever lost something? You look everywhere and still can’t find it? I have, many times. Usually I will eventually find it. But sometimes I don’t.
But did you know that if you pray about it, then ask for it back, it will usually come back.
Let me give you an example. I lost my favorite crochet hook. I know, not a life or death issue and yes, I have others I can use. But it was my favorite. I prayed about it. I asked the angels to find it for me. Then I demanded that the devil give it back. He has no need for my crochet hook. Now remember, I looked everywhere. Even around my chair where I last had it. A couple of hours after I demanded the devil bring it back, I found it, laying in the middle of my area rug. It was not there before. I would have seen it or stepped on it.
My point is, we have the right to demand that satan bring back the things he has stolen from us. We just need to use our God given authority and demand he return it.
But that’s not all. Did you know the more we seek God, the easier it gets? God will open doors for us that was closed before. All we have to do is ask. Read the above verses: “Ask, and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall open.” (Matthew 7:7 ESV)
I encourage you today to really study those verses. Ask God to explain them to you, meditate on them. Then put action to the words. Ask, seek and knock. God will answer the door and open it wide for you. All you need is to have faith and trust him to do it.
Let me know what happens. I look forward to a great testimony on what God has done for you.
Have a blessed day.
