Love Over Fear

by | Mar 9, 2021 | Deliverance, Faith, Fear, Worry

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1 ESV)

“You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.” (Deuteronomy 3:22 ESV)

Wake up sleeper, open your eyes.
Love is alive Fear don’t live here anymore.

This is what I woke up to yesterday. It kept running through my head. It’s time we wake up and realize that love is what this world needs.

Fear isn’t fun. I lived in fear as a child. I was scared to death of storms. Especially at night. I couldn’t see what was coming. But I outgrew that fear. Now I just sit and watch storms as they roll through. If really severe storms are headed my way, I pray.

That is exactly what we need to do when the storms of life try to bring us down. Pray them away. I don’t know how many times the weather man said tornadoes were headed this way. I prayed. We got the storm but the tornado skipped right over town. Whoever says prayer doesn’t work are liars. Prayer works! Fear is a spirit that tries to derail you and cause you to not trust your instincts.

I spent many nights sitting on the bottom of the stairs because of a storm. But as soon as it was over, I went back to bed. That is how the storms are. They blow in, trying to cause you to lose your faith. But if you just stay strong and stand your ground, they will blow themselves out. It’s time for us to wake up and take a stand against the evil in the world. Time is really getting short. We need to bring in everyone we can. I don’t want to see people left behind.

Like I have said before, let’s crowd heaven so God has to create another wing to hold us all.
