We are together.
All of us here together.
No-one not our brother, or our sister.
We are together.
So much more with one another.
That in truth we make a multitude.
We are together.
Not alone, but wired for each other.
Connected by threads that cannot be unwound.
Not by those who fail to realise,
the kinship at our core.
The shared humanity in which we’re bound.
We are together.
Faith, and hope and love,
the enduring ties by which we’re tethered.
The things that will outlast our struggles,
and remain.
The things at the heart of our defense, and our endeavours.
No, we are not alone.
No matter the distance, or the fences.
No one not our brother, or our sister.
We all belong.
