You are my Sonshine, my only Sonshine,
You make me happy when skies are gray,
I want to tell You how much I love You,
Your light shines on me each and every day!
The other night Lord, when You awoke me,
You said to get up and to pray;
Pray for the sick folks, the poor and lonely,
And remember them every day.

As I go forth Lord, I want to please You,
To follow all You do and say;
Visit my neighbor, and those with troubles,
And encourage them in all Your ways.
