Neighbors down the street had put up Christmas lights and decorations early. Driving by, I saw a man gently and lovingly unwrap the figure of the Christ child, and place it in the Nativity scene there in his yard.
Kids can hardly wait to unwrap gifts. I’m no different; a beautiful package is no good unless you can open it. How great is it that we can unwrap the baby Jesus each and every day. The infant, Emmanuel. GOD with us.
We can never ever thank You enough, Lord, for your priceless gift. But daily, as we are unwrapping Your gift, we can experience and be grateful for Your love, mercy, and saving grace You’ve given to us.
Unwrapping the gift is….good news.
