“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Snow-on-the-mountain shrubs are beautiful when sporting new growth. The leaves unfurl pink and white before turning deep green. Unfortunately our lovely bushes looked like spindly sticks fit for nothing except to be chopped down. Thin wormlike caterpillars were having themselves a field day stripping the plants.
With persistent and continued spraying — and time — the condition of the shrubs that stretched along the back fence came back. They even looked more healthy than before.
It’s easy to give up on things that need work and walk away from problems. The Bible tells us nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37) Things take time; time takes time. If we give things prayer, and time, they often work out.
That’s good news.
