You Satisfy my Soul

by | Oct 18, 2014 | Uncategorized

“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, HE RESTORES MY SOUL. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” (Ps 23:2-3  NIV)

“When I wake up in the morning, when I lay my head to rest, you satisfy my soul.”

The words of this song were imprinted in my heart this weekend and even as the anointing of God brings peace into your life, just receive God’s rest in your troubles.

The ladies from our church just got back from a ladies camp and I tell you , we had a marvelous experience in God’s anointing. Many of you reading this know what I am talking about. There are certain days in your life where you are feeling excited and ready to take on the world for Christ and on some days, you feel so unworthy to carry the cross.

Right, aren’t I? Today I want to reassure each of you that has ever had these ups and downs, that though we change from day to day, from mood to mood, Our father in Heaven is unchanging. He is the God of the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow. Our futures may look uncertain but Jesus is in our future and he is certain. Our walk with him may look shaky, but his path is directed.

I can’t promise you that you will never have these moments but I can proclaim that though we change, nothing, no principality, no sin, no powers of darkness, nothing, absolutely nothing can separate us from his love. Jesus’ love for us reaches into the depths of our sin and pulls us out for a life directed to eternal life. Don’t allow the devil to administer doubt in your life. You are worthy because the perfect sacrifice, without spot or blemish was made and his blood cleanses you.

In order for days that turn into refreshing continually, make the Lord your God, master over your emotions as well. Don’t let Christ only do a work in your situations but let him change every part of you into his image.

Step from pain to prosperity to perfection in the Lord. Reach out for a matured life in Christ Jesus and those up and down days will turn into satisfied days in Christ. When you wake up in the morning until you lay your head to rest, he will satisfy your soul. Satisfaction, not only for the seat of all your emotions, your heart but satisfaction reaching the very depths of you, the very part of your existence and that is your soul.

Declare from this day on, I will arise and be satisfied in Christ.

God Bless you all!
