  God’s Raging Fire A Poem

by | Oct 18, 2014 | Judgment, Poems

Lightening strikes in the Golden State

Causing thousands of acres to burn in its wake.

People were forced to leave their houses and land

Because this burning inferno has no mercy on man.

Over eight-hundred fires started by the Master’s Hand,

Just like Sodom and Gomorrah; it is a part of God’s great plan.

The last days are upon us, and God’s wrath is fierce and strong;

Condemning the evil lusts of men and, for that, they must atone.

Earthquakes and fires plague the California sun.

Repent and seek forgiveness from the one whose wrath has come.

Don’t hide your face, O’ Golden State, from the one whom you need most.

Because, if you do, well then, His wrath will spread from coast to coast.

Seek God’s face and turn away from your lusts and evil ways.

Ask Him for forgiveness. Then, give Him honor and due praise.

He will hear your cries and heal your land, and stop these raging fires.

If you will worship Him, and Him alone, He will fill your heart’s desires.

The last days are upon us and of this we can be certain.

So, repent, “O’ Golden State”, before God draws the final curtain.

Tell your neighbors and your friends that God is in control,

That He wants to claim them as His own and save their broken soul.

“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven

against all the godlessness and wickedness of men

who suppress the truth by their wickedness.” (Rom. 1:18)
