The Door of My Heart
Jesus kept knocking at the door of my heart. He whispered, softly, "Please, let me come in." So, I opened it wide and let Him inside. Now, I've found such a
true, loving, friend. Teardrops falling, like rain, down my face. I dropped down on my knees and felt so at ease As I thanked Him for
His wonderful grace. Of the grace and forgiveness you've shown And, when You died for me upon that cruel wooden tree, That was the greatest
love I've ever known. I hope you'll listen and let Him come in Because you can search this whole world over And never find such a
love without end. enter in he shall be saved, And shall go in and
out, and find pasture." Poetry by Vickie Lambdin Treasured Thoughts Vickie is a Heavenly Inspirations Author. This poem may be used in its entirety, with credits in tact, for non-profit ministering purposes. |
