A Heavenly Place
Sometimes we pray, so reverently, For a friend we want the Lord to heal - Because we love them and our faith is strong. But, it just may not
be His will. In answering, like we think He should, That doesn't mean He hasn't heard us. He's just working for
their spiritual good. And it's a heartbreak that we must face. But, we cannot question the motives of the Lord, If He's ready to take
them to a heavenly place. For a better home that's free from pain; Give them a better place to go to, Where there's always
Sonshine and no more rain. That His answer could be 'no'. He has prepared a place where pain exists no more, And a heavenly place
for them to go.
